A Culinary Tour of Trelleborg
After the intense greenery of summer, the landscape has now taken on the golden hues of fall. The yellow of the rapeseed fields has given way to warm shades of rust, amber, and deep green. The harvest is bountiful, the ingredients are rich, and along the southern coast of Skåne, you’ll meet passionate culinary creators who transform the bounty of fall into flavorful experiences.

Bistro Saltarv – älocal food and micro-bakery
Pärvlägen 9 in Beddingestrand is a classic Trelleborg destination that has been given a new lease on life. Here, Emma and Martin Sjöstrand from Hörte Brygga are cultivating a new gem on the south coast—Bistro Saltarv. The menu is crafted in harmony with nature and the ingredients that are at their best right now. Root vegetables, freshly picked herbs, and slow-cooked flavors are paired with carefully selected beverages.
Pärlvägen 9 is also home to Fik & Butik, which offers local ingredients, gift baskets, buffet packages, and a microbakery that fills the air with the alluring scents of cardamom and rye.
Tip: Come for lunch, pick up some groceries for the weekend, and stick around for a glass of wine on the beachfront terrace.

The Sneak – matcirkus at Smygehuk!
Located at the harbor in Smygehuk is Smygeriet, a small, classic red cottage that Linus Svensson has transformed into a sparkling pink, circus-themed café. Here, they serve food in cones, colorful pastries, and chocolate pralines handmade on the southern coast of Skåne.
Smygeriet is perfect for families with kids, for a spontaneous weekend getaway, or when you want to treat yourself to something extra delicious (and Instagram-worthy).
Tip: Try Linus pralines (did someone say "Pralinus"?)—they're award-winning and melt in both your hand and your heart.
