Sustainability Guides for Event Organizers
Recycling
Starting July 1, 2026, new rules will take effect requiring event organizers to ensure that visitors can sort food waste, packaging waste (paper, plastic, metal, glass), and general waste. Contact the City of Trelleborg if you are interested in using the city’s waste categories or recycling bins at your event by phone at 0410-73 30 00 or by email at kontaktcenter@trelleborg.se.

To reach even more people, use social media. Share the event on Facebook and Instagram or other platforms to generate engagement and increase visibility.
