Are you planning an event in the municipality of Trelleborg? Visit Trelleborg offers financial support for events that contribute to the municipality’s development, strengthen the local business community, and foster engagement. Applications are accepted twice a year, and the support is intended for associations, organizations, foundations, and businesses. By meeting our criteria, you’ll help make Trelleborg an attractive and sustainable destination.
Application Information
Visit Trelleborg offers financial support for events, which can be applied for by associations, organizations, foundations, and companies planning to host events in the municipality of Trelleborg. The purpose of this support is to promote the development of events that enhance the municipality’s appeal, strengthen the local business community, and engage residents.
To process applications fairly and efficiently, we have established two fixed application deadlines per year. You can submit your application no later than:
- January 7
- June 1
Please note that applications submitted after these dates may be accepted but will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

By collecting all applications at set times, we can ensure that each organizer receives as fair and equitable an evaluation as possible. Sustainable Events
Visit Trelleborg operates in accordance with Trelleborg Municipality’s sustainability goals, which are based on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Today, visitors and sponsors are placing increasingly high demands on events to be socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable. There are many tools and certifications that help organizers meet these requirements. To assess the various impacts of events, Visit Trelleborg uses the tools Eventcalculator and “Tratten.”
Criteria and Guidelines
To ensure an appropriate long-term and sustainable return on investments made in events, clear and relevant guidelines are needed that stakeholders can follow. These guidelines should be clearly stated in the partnerships that Visit Trelleborg has with various stakeholders, but should also be used when evaluating the events.
