In the Footsteps of the Vikings
Join us on a journey through time
After lying forgotten for over 1,000 years, Trelleborgen has been restored and now reflects some of its former glory. The Viking-era castle offers a fascinating glimpse into the history of Trelleborg, which stretches far back in time and through the Danish era.
From Discovery to Renewal
In 1988, the remains of the Viking-era ring fort that gave Trelleborg its name were discovered. In 1995, part of the fort and a Viking farmstead were reconstructed in the town center.
