Here’s how to prepare for the adventure!

This is what to do if you want to walk the self-guided Trelleborg – Home of Vikings audio tour. Please use headphones for the best possible listening experience.

  •  Download the StoryTourist app from App Store or Google Play.

  • Open the app. You can choose to either create an account or to press “Browse tours”.

  • Download the Trelleborg – Home of Vikings tour to your phone.Once the tour is downloaded to your phone, go to the tour starting point by the runestone placed by the sidewalk at the Västra Vallgatan entrance road to the Trelleborg Viking museum.

  • Note: You must allow the app to track your location while you are using it. Also, ensure that your mobile phone is unmuted during the entire walk.

  • Open the app and press the tour start button.

Journey of discovery

The tour takes you in a circle from the museum into Trelleborg and then back again. The tour route is about 1,6 km long and consists in part of nature terrain and stairs. The tour is available in English, Swedish and German and takes about one hour.
