We invite you to nominate up to three tourism industry stakeholders and ask that you include a rationale for each selection. A jury consisting of the three most recent Guldpalmen winners, along with the chair and CEO of Visit Trelleborg, will carefully review all nominations to select this year’s winner. Stenmarks Restaurant & Greenhouse Wins the 2025 Golden Palm!  

This year’s winner of Visit Trelleborg’s 2025 Golden Palm is Stenmarks Restaurang & Växthus, a model of how gastronomy, sustainability, and innovation can be combined into a holistic experience that strengthens Trelleborg as a destination.  

The award is presented each year to a player in the tourism industry that not only attracts visitors but also contributes to sustainable community development. During the Business Gala on October 16 at Söderslättshallen, it became clear that Stenmarks is this year’s worthy winner.  

With its new greenhouse concept, Stenmarks has created a sustainable destination that has become a new reason to visit Trelleborg. The climate-smart restaurant demonstrates how food, sustainability, and community development can be combined—and how innovative thinking can inspire more people to take steps toward a greener future. Guests are treated to authentic artisanal pizzas made with local ingredients, in an environment where quality and climate consciousness go hand in hand.  

“Stenmarks Restaurang & Växthus has demonstrated, in an innovative and inspiring way, how culinary experiences can serve as a catalyst for sustainable social development. They have created a destination that attracts, engages, and inspires—an example of how quality, creativity, and climate awareness can come together to create something truly unique,” according to the jury’s statement.  

Among this year’s many nominations, three businesses were selected as finalists for the 2025 Guldpalmen Award: Victoriasalongen, Stetti Café & Bistro, and Stenmarks Restaurang & Växthus.  

Victoriasalongen is known for its creative and experiential dining concepts, while Stetti Café & Bistro has turned Gislöv Harbor into a vibrant gathering place for both Trelleborg residents and visitors.  

“We see the Golden Palm as a symbol of courage, innovation, and sustainability in the tourism industry. This year’s winner and finalists showcase the diversity and creativity that make Trelleborg an increasingly strong destination for the future,” says Pehr Palm, CEO of Visit Trelleborg.  

In addition to the prestigious award and the Golden Palm statuette, Stenmarks Restaurang & Växthus will receive a development grant of 10,000 kronor.

In a short time, they have gone from being a summer café to becoming a highly regarded event organizer that hosts fully booked experiences in a delightful setting. The owners run their business with great dedication and have created a place that feels authentic and welcoming. Stetti Café & Bistro has become a natural gathering spot in Gislöv Harbor, where both the culinary experiences and the atmosphere receive top marks.
